Taste Bud Tuesday

ChickenPilaf

This recipe came to me from a dear friend who knew I would appreciate the simplicity of a quick and easy meal.  It’s one of those recipes that you can pull out at the last moment, because in most cases you can use what you already have to substitute some of the ingredients if needed!

Today’s Dish: Chicken and Pilaf

Rice Pilaf (Garlic & Herb)
2 Cups of Water
1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
Frozen/Slightly Thawed Chicken tenderloins or thighs

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Layer each item in the following order in a 9×13 baking dish uncovered.

AddCreamMushSoup1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup

AddWater2 Cups of Water

Fashion Friday

HighLo1

I love mixing high end brands with low end brands.  Not only can I have more versatility in my looks by accessorizing, but the high end items elevate the entire outfit.  For example, the classic maxi dress with a denim jacket!

These aviator sunglasses are Dolce & Gabbana, and are the perfect color of metallic for my skin tone.  This Coach bag is a beautiful classic that will never go out of style.  Changing out my purse to coordinate with each outfit has extended the life of my bags.   These functional items have truly become a key piece to accessorizing my ensembles.  Depending on the occasion, my bag will dictate what I wear.  Are you a bag changer?

Happy Father’s Day

FathersDay2014

I am blessed to call this godly man my husband.  He loves his family; cherishes, protects, supports, and gives his all.  I love how he loves our kids, for he savors every moment with them.   He is our HERO.

Happy Father’s Day to my man and my dad.  I love you both dearly!

We also let them pick out something fun from the bookstore as a reward for a successful school year, and a kick-off to summer!  This year the girls picked a journal to write their thoughts and doodle.
