There are key pieces to a wardrobe that can transcend the trends of time. One of those key pieces is the denim jacket. If I had to pick a few articles of clothing that were a “must have”, this would be one. Another transitional garment is the black t-shirt dress. Worn alone with sandals, layered here with skinnies, this basic dress can be a perfect packing item when you want various looks with minimum articles to pack. Third, is the skinny jean. Now this jean cut doesn’t seem to be heading out any time soon, as we see jeggings of the sort in all stores. It is my go-to pant when heading out the door just out of sheer comfort and versatility.
When these pieces are all worn together it may just seem a tad boring or well, basic. Add your personal touch with your favorite bootie or hat, signature jewels, plus that customized manicure and you’ve got a style you can call your own! So all this to say, while basic may be basic…these pieces stand through the timelines, unclutter the closet, and serve as the backdrop to your creative styling!

Mixing it up today for Manicure Monday! Sometimes we want to try something new, but are unsure of how to coordinate the look. Well, Jamberry Nails has taken all the guess work out and created some fun and colorful mixed manicures (designs matched together all on one sheet) to get our nails ready, not only for Spring, but for Summer as well! Can you just picture these on toes, for a fabulous pedicure?

Loving this matte combo which includes this month’s StyleBox by Jamberry. The matte trend is here Spring and I’m falling for this look! Also, the matte nail wraps are a bit thinner than the regular nail wraps giving it an appearance of a thin coat of nail lacquer.

Jamberry Nails Emerald Argyle and Gold Fishnet
My early St. Patrick’s Day manicure from last week is still going STRONG! They have lasted through dishwashing, bathing, countless washing of the hands, crafting, pulling apart Legos, and other daily activities that can wreck havoc on our hands. So I thought I would share some tips on how to freshen up your Jamberry manicure (aka. Jamicure)!
10 Day Manicure
With a watertight application, many have been known to get their Jamicures to last past two weeks. But how do you keep them looking fresh? By following these 2 quick steps, you can get that “fresh manicure look.”
Step 1: Trim or clip the worn ends. Jamberry nail wraps won’t chip, but they can show wear just at the tips if you use your nails as tools like I do.
Step 2: File or Buff the tips in a downward motion to keep the ends smooth.
That’s it! Depending on how quickly your nails grow, you can extend your Jamicure well past ten days!

I just couldn’t wait to get festive with my nails for St. Patrick’s Day, a great excuse to wear my favorite color! You better believe that I will be wearing this design well into the Spring season as the argyle trend is popping up everywhere. From socks to sweaters, skirts and scarves…why not wear it on your fingertips? Notice the bit of gold at the end to depict the Pot o’ Gold!?
